4H project leads to hutch ideas

Today I came across a blog post over at Joyful Hearts and Faces. This family is starting their adventure in rabbits as part of a 4H project. This post talks to their preparations including the need for cages. (Obviously these will not be house rabbits).
What I did find interesting was the ingenuity shown. The family created the cages and hutch from scratch. The went beyond your typical, "I need a cage to stick the rabbit in" and constructed the hutch, complete with a DIY excrement collection system. (Now doesn't that sound official.)
