PlanetRabbit.com is a family friendly community of rabbit fanciers, pet owners and exhibitors alike. Our goal is to provide this community to promote responsible rabbit ownership, showmanship and general happiness of our rabbits. We created PlanetRabbit.com to be open and allow for community discussion and education. Help us help others by sharing your tips, articles, resources and knowledge.
PlanetRabbit.com was started by a father and daughter team who had the idea of providing a high quality, friendly and youth aware online community on a topic they enjoyed, rabbits. They started with their first rabbit, a Polish named Macy, in 2006 as a rescue. As the rabbit grew, so did their interest thanks to a local rabbitry owner and friend of the family. Sadly, Macy passed away in 2008 due to some medical complications. After a few months, a new chocolate Polish named Snickers joined the picture.
